GETTING INVOLVED
VOLUNTEERS
Everyone has some way to contribute. Currently Celebrate Los Osos has over 300 volunteers (See Honor Roll), who are willing to do anything from designing a landscape, pulling weeds, or pouring beer at a fund-raising music festival. We always need more volunteers. To add your name to the list, email us, using the contact form on the left, including your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and how you would like to be involved or any special skills that you can offer.
CONTRIBUTIONS
We continue to work cooperatively with many public agencies, and have successfully pursued both public and private grants to support various projects. Many local merchants have donated goods or given us a break on the price of needed materials. But our basic source of funding has been donations from members of our community – both individual residents and business owners – who see a contribution to Celebrate Los Osos as a valid way to meet our shared goals:
- improve the appearance of our community,
- conserve our resources, and
- regenerate a positive community spirit.
